RV parks do not honor advertised rate when booking?

Over the years I've noticed this at most RV parks. When making a reservation you make it at their current rate for the dates desired. You often make a deposit up to 100%. When arriving you find you...

Nope, never had it happen. But then again, I have never, and will never book a reservation a year in advance. Especially at an overpriced RV Park in California.
