RV parks in Yuma

Planning a first ever trip to visit Yuma end of January. I've gone through rv park reviews and narrowed our list to: Sunset Palm, Suni Sands, Rolle's Lynda Vista, Mesa Verde, Las Quentas Oasis, Desert Paradise.
We are active 63 & 65 year olds. We have no pets but like animals. This visit is to test the waters so we won't be staying the rest of the winter. We are set up to dry camp/boondock and we might try that also.

  • I dry camped at Mittry Lake just a little north of Yuma. It is a nice place to stay if you are into boondocking. It is a little tricky to find though. You could check Google maps. If you are into birding it is a wet area so has some pretty good birds.

Check out this link about 2/3 of the way down the page.
