RV parks open in April in Southern Maine
We are planning on visiting friends in the Portland area and are having a difficult time locating campgrounds that are open in April. Any suggestions? Scot

The traditional opening date in this area is usually May 15th give or take a day or two. The only ones I know of that open at the end of April is one in Brewster on the Cape and Wild Duck (adults only) in Scarborough ME which is near Portland ME. Both open ,I believe, the last weekend in April. There could be others but these are the only ones I know of.
