RV Rental & Florida Keys Tour Ideas/Resources?

My wife and I would like to rent an RV this November and drive down through the Keys, stopping at several of them at our leisure to explore the area. We would fly into Tampa or Miami and spend about two weeks doing this. I guess we could actually rent an RV up here in northern NJ and drive the whole thing, but we are just in the beginning phases of planning the trip and haven't looked at the costs of doing it the various ways. Can anyone make suggestions for this type of trip, i.e. good places to rent and stay? I've had a 30' class C but sold it a few years back. I'd like a nice class A for this trip.

    Thanks! Yes, that's the primary reason for my post. I want to identify reputable/recommended places to do the rental, as well as the places we want to stop, and get all of that nailed down now, if there are still places available.

    You will really need to plan this trip with RESERVATIONS! The winter is the big season in the keys. Most all the state parks and many of the private ones are booked a year in advance. We wintered in the keys for many years before moving to south TX do to the high cost of staying down there. It was also getting way to crowded for us. Feel free to PM us with any specific questions you may have. Jolly Roger CG is a great stop in Marathon.
