Not saying all do this but I've seen it enough in enough different campgrounds to know it's not something I'd do if I had a TT and especially not if I had a 5th wheel, seen 5th wheels tow by a fork lift tractor with a hitch just shoved on the forks????
At Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach, they have trucks outrigged specifically to tow TT's and 5ers. And they do a great job. Lakewood does to. We have had ours stored at both places.
As far as forklifts, that's how they move them around at RV dealerships.
