- Drew_KExplorerA less expensive option is a state park or COE (Corp of Engineer) campground. Those are typically around $20/night. Brazos Bend State Park is on the south side of Houston and is a pretty large park with a lot of camping spaces. You'll have to reserve online though because the park does fill up pretty quickly on weekends.

There's an RV park about 7 miles from the port. Marina Bay RV Resort in Kemah. Might call them to see if they have storage.
The lot where I keep my TT is also in Kemah. Call A-Zinn Storage at 281-334-3222. Maybe they can help you out. They're good folks. - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerThere's an RV park about 7 miles from the port. Marina Bay RV Resort in Kemah. Might call them to see if they have storage.
- padredwNomadSeveral years ago about five couples of us signed up for a special "RV Trip" to the Panama Canal and the Western Caribbean from Houston. They specifically allowed for RVs to be parked in the port terminal parking lot without additional cost.
Have you contacted the parking facility directly? It seems to be only a "policy" restraint, not a space one. The cruise we went on was advertised in Trailer Life Magazine. It was a great trip. We, personally, at the time decided not to take our RV, but our car was parked without cost. - Jay_PatExplorerI would use an rv park and rent a space.
It's what I plan to do this summer.
