Kit Carson, have you tried Farr Park equestrian center there in Baton Rouge? It is only a few miles from campus and stadium. Stayed there a few years ago visiting family in BR. My dad became ill and ended up in hospital. People running the park were great, and very helpful and understanding our situation where we didn't know how long we would stay. Actually ended up leaving on Friday AM prior to Sat home game. When we arrived on Monday, park was practically empty. Friday as we left it was probably slightly better than half full. Park is first come first stay with no reservations, so I am sure by end of day on Friday it was full. We moved motorhome to cousin's driveway off I12 East on Friday, as Dad was expected to get out of hospital on Saturday allowing us to avoid game day traffic.
