Was just at Yosemite and Sequoia and the conservation efforts to preserve nature, provide visitor services and restore or improve sections of the park seemed to be working.
It's opening up national forests which unlike national parks does not have the same protection and can be opened up by mere executive order to commercial exploitation.
Yeah indeed, why bother to go to Sierra National Forest to camp when the oil fields at Bakersfield is nearer?
