Salt Springs National Recreation Area Verizon Coverage

Hi, I am booked to go to Salt Springs Rec area by Ocala for Memorial Day weekend. Does anyone know if Verizon wireless has good coverage in the park area? Before you go off on using a cellphon...

We had to drive a few miles to get a good enough signal to even make a call. Nobody wants to put in a tower near there. From the recreation.gov website: There is no cell phone coverage or internet service at Salt Springs. Such a shame because it's one of our favorite places!
