- mikeleblanc413ExplorerThanks for all of the comments! I've called and spoken with Ryan who "assures" me the pull throughs are away from noise. Since the reservations are already made, we'll leave them there. Will be sure to be on top of things when we check in and be prepared to go to another park if necessary.
- Oregon_MsExplorerKOA moved in, raised the rates and the attitude but so far (as of a month ago) did nothing (that I could see) to improve the property. When I was there I could not get into the restroom with the code, a woman came by and said "haven't they fixed that yet? It's been like that for two weeks".
I reserved a pull through they tried to switch it out and put me in a back in (again, with lots of attitude). People there who had made reservations at the old rate were told that the rate was higher, pretty much "too bad". The people I talked to said they honored the original reservation but not without a fight.
It's convenient, it's nice to be able to walk to the casino, but unless they become more user friendly I'll vote with my wheels. 2oldman wrote:

Haven't been since it went KOA, but it was always ok as Sam's.
Last time in Vegas we were at Arizona Charlie's. Seemed nice but was just overnight on 4th of July so it was a bit crazy everywhere.- lbrjetExplorerArizona Charlie's has 70 foot pull thru concrete pads. Was pretty decent. Never stayed at Sam's.
- hotpepperkidExplorerWe stayed there last summer. I think the rates were $20
- old_guyExplorerwe stopped there last year and did not have a reservation so I go stuck with a small site and had to did connect my tow vehicle, which something I didn't want to do since we planned on leaving early the next day.

We stayed there a few years ago and it was OK. Dick - mikeleblanc413ExplorerThanks for the information. I will write them and ask to be put away from the street noise.
- WyoTravelerExplorerI like Arizona Charlies better. Just half a mile north on Boulder hwy. KOA has taken over Sams Town. Don't know what their rates are now.
BTW: amandasgramma's complaint is very common. When we lived in SO CA we'd roll in without reservations and always get a good rv space. Living in WY, even with reservations, we would get a bad site. Guess they figured it didn't matter because we lived so far away. That is why we started staying at Arizona Charlies. We can always drive over to Sam's Town and stand in huge lines for their buffets. Best buffet is Cannery north on Boulder. A walk through Sams Town is quaint (once) otherwise lot of other good places.
