Just over half way is the town of Duson, LA (just before Lafayette). There's an RV park called Frog City, and has all pull thru sites, spotlessly clean showers, great hook-ups, and is right off I-10. We stay there every trip to and from Texas. They are also a Passport America and Good Sam park.
