- JohnG3Explorer IIWe stayed at th Chula Vista seveal years ago and it was a clean park. The older section was not a good fit for RVs with slides on both sides.
- mikimExplorerI have stayed at both and they are both very nice. But we Like Chula Vista RV Resort as it is near the bay. The Chula Vista KOA is further inland.
- guidryExplorer IIMy first choice would be Santee Lakes! The others are ok but Santee is great.
- DickOKExplorerHave stayed several times at Chula Vista. It is on the water. Pricey but worth it.
- ScottGNomadCV is very nice but I suggest people stay away from the so-called premium sites that are on the perimeter next to the park. They can get very noisy with people in the park partying.
- EscargotExplorerI've heard very good things about the Chula Vista RV Resort, and I'm not familiar with the San Diego KOA. There's also Campland on the Bay, in the Mission Bay area, which would place you in a very convenient location from which to take in the sites and events San Diego has to offer.
