Napa has a couple of places, Napa Valley Expo CG and Skyline Park.
both have hookups.
Would stay away from Napa Valley Expo the camp host, who is the only person on site, at Napa Valley Expo used to make up his own rules on deciding who he would allow to stay with or with out reservations.
When was this???
Never had an issue there.
DITTO!
i've stayed there and never had such issues.
and i lived 10 years only a couple of blocks from there and always heard good things from those who i recommended the place.
Was 2013 had reservations for two nights and had gone over the posted rules and no age limits on RV's. Pulled in and the host told us our RV was to old and would not honor our reservation. When I told him that there was no age limits on the online rules he informed me that the printed rules had a age restriction. After I asked for the printed rules and found no age restrictions in the printed rules and pointed that out to him he stated it did not matter he stated he would not allow us in. Got a little heated and he finally "allowed us" to stay the night. Next day he came by and again told us they we were going to be "allowed to stay" because the new rules were not printed yet.
One of the rules was " RV’s MUST be in good repair (no broken glass, missing doors, duct tape, tarps etc.)"
Funny thing was same camp host had no problem with honoring the reservation of a newer class A with some compartment doors missing.
Yes I did call the fairgrounds twice after this and left a message both times for the person in charge of the RV park to please call me and they never did. - TANDDANDBIGEExplorerMorehead Park in Tracy, an hour East of San Fran was just fine; nothing special, but friendly, quiet and clean. Had a reasonable weekly rate to boot. Mostly monthly folks, but a few transit spots available.
- Texas_Two_SteppExplorerThanks for all the info. One more question. How far in advance do we need to make reservations? It will be after school starts.

We stayed there once and it is quite nice and would do it again.
X3, We stayed there three years ago, very well run CG. We took the SF City Tour with John our guide, VERY informative tour and well worth the $$, he was amazing! We would definately stay there again if in the area.

It was super convenient to the city. Though the park is more of a parking lot than a resort, we had a great stay. You can walk to the edge of the park for a terrific view of the Pacific. You can see my review and several photos here: San Francisco RV Park
