To keep a close eye on updates which seem to happen every 12 to 24 hours check the

Question how do you feel about the complete closure of a national forest ie San Juan all 1.8 million acres (out of 14 million acres of nfs land in the state). some of which is more than 60 miles away from the 416 fire and 80 miles from the burro fire. The closure is not danger from the existing fire outside of the existing fire area but to prevent new fires according to the nfs. What happens when they close another forest or two here? Just curious about others thoughts. there is nary a town in that part of the state that doesn’t count on tourism
