Do you need full hookups with your rig? That would make a difference. We really enjoyed the Orilla Verde Rec Area...it's BLM land along the Rio Grande river. They have 7 different campgrounds to choose from but no sewers. That said, you'll most likely want to stay at your site and enjoy the area rather than go visit the towns...:W.....Dennis
