Savanah in Feb. Where?
Where's the best place to go in Savanah...in February? Going to be there about a week and need FHU and dog friendly.

- We've stayed at Skidaway a number of times; great park close to Savanah (central area is one of the prettiest cities in the country). Last time there they were installing sewers; I would suspect they are in use now. They used to have free cable TV too, don't know if they still do.
Certainly a great place to visit.

The City of Savannah, Georgia has hosted the Saint Patrick's Day celebrations since 1824. It boasts a celebration rivaling New York City in size and fervor. Unlike any other cities, Savannah's historic parade is always held on March 17, not on the neighboring weekend. Festivities begin more than a week in advance.
