Savannah Georgia camping
Looking to go to the Savannah Georgia area this April for about 5-6 days. Have never been and would like some suggestions on campgrounds. Thanks!

- I like Hardeeville RV Park, in Hardeeville, SC. Easy run into Savannah, good home base.
- camplakejasper.com We stayed here for a week this last summer. Easy into the city from there..about 20 miles or you can drive to the convention center on Hutchinson Island on the park side of the river and take the people ferry into old town Savannah..free parking at the convention center. The park is very nice, quiet, swimming pool, laundry, etc...I highly recommend it. It's also a nice drive to Hilton Head from the park altho Hilton Head was VERY congested when we were there end of May. There is a Wal-mart shopping area pretty close also.
- Hi We are going a bit earlier than you, and have decided to go to the New C/G in the area known as Creek Fire. We spoke to the reps from there last summer at the Hershey show, it seems to be nice from what we read etc. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!!
- Skidaway Island SP is the most popular in the area. Hilton Head is 30 minutes away and there are 2 nice parks there. A little pricey tho...
