Well if you are looking in Georgia the only thing with traffic is around Atlanta we have a lot of it. If you are coming through I would recommend doing it at night or between 10:00 - 2:00. There is also a lot of construction going on as well
Now there are many campgrounds that accommodate large trailers. The one I mentioned here does. There were several large toy haulers there this weekend. They were 38 - 45 feet in length. This campground has a lot of historic places near by that would be great to ride your Harley too.
The North Georgia mountains have several big rig friendly sites. River Bend in Hiawassee for one.nand lots of nice plays to,ride to and see. If you up into Tennessee Pigeon Forge has Pine Mountian and there you will see a lot of bikes touring up in the Great Smokey Mountains. But timing there is critical. Holidays around PF are very crowded as well as leave changing seasons. Then you have Savannah and Jekyl Island areas.
South Carolina has some very nice places inland and of course Myrtle Beach. Check out Willow Tree (Longs SC). Very big rig friendly and one of our favorites.
North Carolina we have been to the Ashville area but don't have a favorite place there.
Lost of places to see and a lot of,historic and scenic places to ride to.
Come see us. :B
