Acadia NP is divided in two. One part is on Desert Island, which people are familiar with, and the other part is on the mainland (an hour away) near Winter Harbor.
We noticed there are not too many pictures of that campground online, or the surroundings
We will take some pictures and post them on our return....so folks can have a better idea of Schoodic.:)
