SE Mass Campground For Halloween

Looking for a campground that has Halloween trick or treating, that is not far from home (Fall River MA Area). Normandy Farms is booked solid, with the exception of some Safari Sites. Any other ideas? For some reason, Columbus Day seems to be the end of most campgrounds' season. Maybe that is why Normandy is booked.

  • Bourne Scenic Park extended their season by 2 weeks this year because they opened late. Give them a try. Mainland side of the bridge. 1/2 hour to New Bedford.

Thx. Didn't realize they were still open after next weekend. I shot them an email, hoping for them to send me an activity schedule.

Nickerson State Park in Brewster - Cape Cod - does a whole great big campground full of Halloween stuff ... not sure if that's too far, or if it even has open sites, but it does have well over four hundred campsites ... It gets all decorated out and every one has a ball ... sometimes two.

I really appreciate the tip. That is a bit too far. The little one still wants to come home to trick or treat with her friends and cousins. I start my week of vacation, and really would like to do one last camping trip. Farthest I would head that way, if opened, would be Maple Park.
