Seattle to Glacier NP

We are planning a trip from Fall City, WA to Glacier in August. We will be pulling a small FW (26 ft) and would like to have your thoughts of the best route. Our thoughts are to take either Hwy 2 or I-90 to Spokane then then take Hwy 2 on to Glacier. Can any one tell me what kind of grades I will encounter on Hwy 2? From Glacier, we plan on going over to Browning and then south to Mt. Rushmore.

  • I haven't driven US-2 in an RV/TT, but don't recall any super ugly grades.

4th of July Pass and Lookout Pass in N. Idaho on I-90 are fairly steep anyway.

It's very pretty from Spokane up through Sandpoint/Priest Lake over Thompson Pass, through Libby and Troy and on to Glacier.
