From someone (not me) who used to live there several years ago, when I read her this thread...
South Cove is much more crowded than High Falls because it is closer to Seneca. They preferred High Falls as it has less problems (boozers and idiots).
As for the COE... both Oconee Point and Coneross are nice. They only stayed at Coneross but say the playground in Oconee Point is nicer. They tended to like to stay above the power plant due to the PCB's that Duke dumped into the lake "accidently"
They also like ChauRam (north of Westminster) which was a state park when they lived in the area but is now a county park.
