Senior and/or NonResident Passes - Western Trip 2019

We have the America the Beautiful. Trip planned for August & September, 2019. Believe we need a South Dakota Annual and Utah Parks pass. Any others we should know about. Are they good for full 12 months or calendar year, etc.
Thanks!

Adventure Caravans has a month long tour in September of the western parks. They do all the planning for you. All you have to do is enjoy!

I recommend you do a Goggle search for all camping caravans and look for reviews. You pay quite a premium and don’t have control of how long you stay at a location.

Here is a link to State Park Entrance Pass Information which also contains some information about state camping passes. Here is a link to more information about State Park Camping Passes.

I know at Dead Horse Point SP in Utah, campground fees include the entrance fee. I can't find information out about the other SP's there, so you might call Utah State Parks and find out if that is true at their other parks.
  • Dead Horse Point is definitely on our list, with Rendezvous Beach/Bear Lake SP, Jordanelle, and Kodachrome. The Senior Pass is $35, so if it covers the Vehicle fee, it might be worth it — can’t tell from their website:

Summer rates are $10 per vehicle Monday-Friday up to 8 people-$15 dollars on weekends and holidays; $5 Utah seniors over 62.

    Camping fees:

Camping fees include one vehicle and one camping unit. Extra vehicle fees apply.

    Thnx!

America the Beautiful pass does not get you 50% off. A Senior Pass or Access Pass (disability pass) will get you 50% off.
    ........

The title of the post included "senior" and my Senior pass card does also include the term "America the Beautiful" on the card, so I assumed he had the America the Beautiful Senior Pass card.
