Wow! I was raised in the Olympics but left in 1955 for the service. Wife and I did the summer of 2013 up there and I planned to spend a few weeks in the north cascades, but highway 20 was closed for a several weeks due to a slide. That took us farther south and to the Olympics. I hope to break out of our Colorado routine next year and get back up there for late summer/fall. Thanks for all the great photos and memories of hikes and camping I enjoyed in the Olympics, back when one could be there for days and see no other person. bill
