Sequoia National Park?
We've never been there... Mostly first come fist serve public camping sounds pretty darn good for this time of year. Anyone have a favorite campground in the area you want to share?

Thanks for the links Tiger4x4RV, and thanks all for your suggestions. We're heading out tomorrow for a few days and fortunately the road from US395 (Nine Mile Canyon) is currently open. I'll make a final check before we roll out the door, but expect to find a good boondocking spot with ease! Looking forward to exploring Sequoia National Park and their first come first serve campgrounds as well.
