Should we drive from Lansing, Mich., to Tucson, Arizona?

Haven't done that route, but since this is a "destination" trip & not a sight seeing trip, the I-44,I-40-I-10 would be the fastest, and since you say you're used to driving very long days, a stop near Oklahoma City would be about a 14.5 hour day, then on to Tucson would be about another 14 hours. My question is, why are you flying, with 5 people in a 31 ft class C there should be room for all, a little crowded yes, but it's only for one trip.
