That's a long drive and perhaps a one time family thing. Probably difficult to recommend CGs as you need to decide what facilities you want and how far to drive. But plan on pools, etc for the kids to unwind.
This is important: You will have absolutely no problem staying in any CG in or near Tucson because it will be hot and no snowbirds. It's extremely important that the engine cooling, cab air, gen and all A/Cs are in good hot weather operation, otherwise you will be miserable. Did I say it will be hot? Expect 115F, might not be that hot but it's possible.
