Should we drive from Lansing, Mich., to Tucson, Arizona?

We're trying to decide whether to drive our oldest to the University of Arizona in August. Anyone do this route (or similar) before? Google maps says 28 hours; Mapquest says 30 hours. Either way, t...

If you take fur kids, be aware that you cannot allow them to walk on asphalt or cement. They will burn the pads of their feet. If you don't believe me - put your hand on the cement in the afternoon sun.

Been there when it was 117 and you cannot be outside for more than a couple minutes. I vote for the two of you flying.
