Siesta Beach on Gulf side of Fl

My wife's sisters want to have Thanksgiving at a beach front house one of them has rented at Thanksgiving. Any recommended rv parks in the area as I want to travel slow & see something's along the way from/to Texas.

  • Oscar Sherer State park is pretty nice. Likely fully booked Thanksgiving timeframe.

When I go visit my niece there, and I can't get into the State parks (Oscar Sherer or Mayakka), I go to Sun-n-Fun Fruitville Rd.

You didn't mention what size RV you have, but if it's on the smaller side, look into Turtle Beach Campground. It's a county run park , right on the beach

They need to start calling and verify that the beach house is still available (didn't get blown away by the storm).

That area was very hard hit by Irma. In November much of Florida will still be a mess.
