Size matters
I'm a little tired of being discriminated against because I have a little RV. If I pay the same price as someone with a big rig, or want a premium spot that campground owners seem to want to save for...

I got flamed for bringing up this one before.
Everyone has an excuse but given all views etc. from all sites being equal what is the problem with being a little more considerate of the bigger brother?
The bigger guy might be perfectly happy with the location of the small spot but if he can't fit, he can't fit. That is a potential loss of revenue no matter whether the CG is private, state or National.
The "Pick a site & make a reservation" argument does not wash. That may be fine for the local weekend warrior who knows the CG, & each site in it, well, but it does not work for the traveler who seldom knows when or where he will be someplace never mind have personal knowledge of the CG.
At 36'LOA I guess I fit in the larger than average catagory, yet when the view or such is not a consideration I still will pick the smallest site I can get into leaving any larger sites for something bigger than me. It is not difficult.
Ya we all pay the same rate for a 25' site or a 45' site but jeebus, have a little thought for the next guy. I thought RVers were the friendliest, most considerate people around.
