At a state park we frequently visit some people always get the larger spots and the farthest from the bath house.:h They do not have any sewer hooked up but pay for it as it is a sewer site. This was before the register online and pick your site took place. There are 3 sites we can get on and not interfere with the road passage. One is 50 amp and three have sewer.. We had come early and sure enough there was a cone on all three sites we could fit on. Camp host went to ranger and next thing I knew he was taking us to one of the handicapped sites our choice of site. Both huge, concrete and next to the bath house. 30 amps and water. We had a great time however only two of the three that had cones on the sites ever showed up. Guess which one did not show!!! one other was a fifth wheel and the other was a smaller camper. The fifth needed the site but the smaller camper could have fit on any other of the many sites left open. First come first serve but the one never came. What do you do. Host made it work although he did not have to. I like the reservation as we can choose what site and when we can go. Works for us.
