I have a 34' 5th wheel and live in California. One of my favorite beach campgrounds has three different type of sites. Front row beach access, middle row and back row. They accomodate all types of trailers and the premium sites are front row beach access. I have camped in that front row with my pop up and my 5th wheel. When I was in my pop up I didn't care who thumbed their nose at me I'm entitled to that spot just like the next guy. Why should I be accomodating if I got up early to make the reservation or took the day off so I could be there at check in? Why is that big rig more important or have preferential sites? Those are the chances you take when you get a big rig. Last time we were at this campground we had a pop up next to us and a classic trailer which only took up 1/2 the site with large Class A's in the back row. It's awesome having an unobstructive view of the Pacific Ocean no matter what type of rig your in.
