Here is a consolation prize for those of us with little trailers who get moved to the little-guy area -- it's often quieter, especially in a public campground. The smaller units and tenters are less likely to run generators, since the big rigs tend to draw more power. That is not always true, but it often is.
On the other hand, the folks with the big rigs tend to host better cocktail parties, with a wider variety of refreshments and snacks. If you are parked next to them, they sometimes extend an invitation. We once got in on an abalone fry party in Northern California that way, and I can still taste those garlicky abalone bits.
