Slab organization
Bad moon on the rise for slabbers. People that took over Salvation Mountain trying to organize Slab City community, form a charitable organizations and take slabs off state's hands. Not sure any good...

Everything I've read about it makes it sounds like a fair number of the residents have psych problems and have a lot in common with bag ladies and the like. And at the least, most everyone is dropping out and/or running from something. I'm not accusing, I'm just asking if that is the case. It fascinates me and I do read whatever I come across. Thanks.
