Slab organization
Bad moon on the rise for slabbers. People that took over Salvation Mountain trying to organize Slab City community, form a charitable organizations and take slabs off state's hands. Not sure any good...

The point is there is a movement underway to change what has been the norm since after the end of WII. The attraction of this place was no rules and that may be changing. I'm at the slabs now and an ill wind blows. Talk is the state may be transferring ownership to a charitable organization that has accepted ownership. Board of directors being voted on tomorrow. Along with that a charter and mission statement will be published. Who knows what will become of this but you can bet something is coming and will probably start with the EPA.
