This would be the worst thing that could happen at the Slabs and the State could use this as a cause for closure.
I was under the assumption the Slabs were Federal Property and not State so this is all news to me. I really would like to keep this site viable if not just for Salvation Mountain itself but feel very strongly the site's status should remain as is in perpetuity.
I myself plan on doing volunteer work at the site just as soon as I retire in two years, I sure hope I have that opportunity when time comes.
There has to be a solution to this problem that does not involve the State or Feds as that will only invite more trouble.
