It's easy. I could care less what Escapees or anyone else thinks I should or shouldn't do, it's not their call regardless what they think. When I've had to use a Walmart I ALWAYS go in and ask permission and tell them where I am. I also park the slide side over either a planter or someplace where it's zero Impact on the lot. End of story
It sort of seems to me that you are doing as the escapees suggest in your blacktop camping experiences.
