Well, at least qtla911 comes out and says it: He (or she) simply enjoys the Wally Camping/asphaulting experience. And as said, who are we to judge?
While I enjoy laughing at the grand excuse-makers who say they don't have time to find a proper campground, etc etc etc, at least one person here is willing to point out something I think many of the most avid asphaulters share in common: they enjoy it.
No wonder they get so defensive when I point out that there are magnificent camping opportuniies within an easy drive of virtually any Walmart in America. They don't WANT a magnificent campground! They wanna sleep in the far corner of a shopping center parking lot--and scold each other on the proper etiquette for doing so!
