Any west coast waterfront ideas near a city with airport service. Thinking about January through March Thanks!

The Sarasota airport is easy to access and much, much less crowded than Tampa.
( I live closer to Tampa, but preferred Sarasota for business travel) .
If you want waterfront ( more or less) , look into Buttonwood Inlet and/or Holiday Cove , both in Cortez. They are on a canal, but it's a short walk or drive to the Ana Maria beaches.
