Solar lights

Anyone use the solar lights by d.light? I saw a video of them on a Youtube video that a lady boondocking used them. I asked her where she got them and she said Amazon. I found them and ordered 4 of them. $10.18 each. They claim they work for over 4 hours. I tested one out and it was still going (although a little dimmer) after over 5 hours. They charge in the sun, but they also have cord that you can plug in to charge if on power. It has a USB end so you can use a 110 adpater or 12 volt charger. I would link directly to them, but we offer them in our online store through Amazon and don't want it all to get contstrued. Just passing on somethig that we found and like and think they will be good to use while dry camping. We do have our lights in the motorhome on LED, but they still take away from the battery bank, even if slighlty. This offers some free lighting (after buying them of course). lol

  • These are good to use inside because you can hang them using the wire base and the lights swivel around...The picture shows the on/off button black, but ours is a white color and they glow in the dark.
  • check the DOLLAR stores
here ..the local 99cent stores often have them
  • I'd like to find a source of the el cheapo solar stake lights, preferably under $1. For camps where I'm at (renaissance faires) that I set up and I use every weekend for 3-4 months, those come quite in handy.

I've never used that one but have used a bunch of different solar patio lights... They work good if you get them charged up good in the sun.

I liked a marked trail to the bath room sometimes...

My problem was always everywhere we camped we was in the shade when possible so to get them charged I always had to take them down and line up somewhere all day long sitting in the sun...

We use the battery operated flicker LED candles as well. They make the greatest night lights inside the trailer. I have some with timers on them... We really like those....
