As long as you stay near the coast...snow shouldn't be a big issue.

If you like spring fall weather it's great. Make sure your furnace is in good running order and have a space heater to supplement and should be fine.

Even Northern Florida can dip below freezing.

I am not an expert but I have lived in central NC for 18 years. And can count snow worth mentioning on my fingers. Have stayed in FL many times in the winter weekly for less than $1000 a week. Last year stayed in Smyrna beach for $75 a day in early March. Going to Myrtle Beach next week for $375 for. 8 days. I have also stayed in West Palm beach, Bradenton, Clearwater, and Lutz for less than $1000. The glut of now may soon slow down. BUT right now I can’t find a place not full end of October 2023 near Thurmont MD. Still looking.

Florida may be tough because of its popularity. Reservations are scarce and the prices are high because of its popularity.

If I were you I'd think outside of the usual. SC and GA has some nice places. Also take a look at the Gulf coasts of Alabama and Mississippi.

I'd sit down and research spots at the Allstays Campgrounds website. Use the Map button for each state to see what's available on the coasts.

Carolinas are a bit too far north unless you like frigid weather. Probable snow tho I'm no Carolina expert. Reasonable in Florida I assume means cheap and that implies north Florida (us 19/98/41 corridor and Ocala NF). BUT! near the Atlantic multiples the costs (which can be in the $1000-1500/mo range by factors of two or three. No good swimming beaches on the Gulf until you get to central FL. But there are many major springs, most in FL State Parks for swimming if the air temp is high enough. The ocean is too cold.
So as you can see the situation is more complex that you expected.
The major snowbird areas are Florida,The Rio Grande Valley (TX)_ and AZ south of Tucson. With other small areas scattered about,
