I'd de-wintersise and go. we are on whidbey, and its been in the 50s down 5 you should be OK into warmer places

I am a little confused. Are you talking about traveling next winter? It rarely gets cold enough along the I-5 to worry about. I would watch the weather reports and wait out any storms on Siskayou in Medford or Roseburg.

yes it would be next winter.
and yes it does get cold enough to do damage to motorhomes

I dewinterize in Bellingham and have never experienced weather cold enough/long enough to be a concern for freezing of the low point drains or the fresh water tank drain.

As long as your comfortable then everything in your motorhome should be comfortable, assuming all of your tanks are inside a basement area on your coach. It isn't like you are storing it - when you travel in it, you will be generating heat that will give you a good cushion through the night until the next morning when you fire up and go again.

It all depends what the weather is doing and going to do. We had our coach winterized and left after New years to head south. We could of de winterized before we left home but waited til we got to Redding Ca.

We have been caught out on the road in very freezing conditions and the only thing that froze was the black tank dump valve in that I couldn't open it to dump. A trouble light on for 1/2 hr. fixed that.
