Do a search on Tennessee State Fairgrounds & Expo Center on the So. Side of the city not far off of I-65. This used to be the site of Fan Fare Country Music Show before they moved to the stadium in town. It was a great deal for RVr's for the shows. Used to go every yr. and maybe walk 1/4mi. to the gate.
Good Luck
Dave - wanderingdawgsExplorerSeven Points Corps of Engineers Park on J. Percy Priest Lake is a short drive south east of the city on I-40. Beautiful campground with many lake front sites.
- TenOCNomadSouth of Nashville is the town of Franklin one of the most "high class" rich singers yet a "old country" town. Lots of luck looking.
There is Montgomery Bell State park and Henry Horton SP each some distant from Lipscomb
There is a park in Smyrna and also in Murfreesboro.
There is also COE parks near Smyrna. - jeb5ExplorerSearch for Gramdma's on I 65, a few mile South of Nashville. Maybe out of town more than you desire.
- B_s_BunchExplorerSeven Points opens 4 01 14 and is booked solid. Always is and is probably half empty. I would say with 840 being completed Montgomery Bell would be your best choice. Larry
- Cat_LadyExplorerYou might want to stay at the Tennessee Livestock Center, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), 1720 Greenland Dr., Murfreesboro, TN., which is about 30-40 minutes from Nashville, off the interstate. IIRC, they have both 30 and 50 amp and water. A dump station is also available. There's at least 25 hookups. Restaurants are close by and WalMart is about 1.5 miles away. Campus security patrols the area but I've never felt unsafe. I paid $115.24/wk that included tax.
Call Bonnie at 615-898-5575 for reservations. I've always enjoy my stays.
