South-TX Weather Has Been Wonderful (So Far)

84 in Central west coast Florida as I type this.
I love Florida and I know it's not popular on this thread.
But we have met so many nice people over the years, been friends with many for a very long time.
Yes it may be more pricey where we are but we have never had to go through 9 tanks of propane to keep warm
We come here because we love to be outside, if we had to use that much propane and stay in side then we might as well stay home in NY by the fire.
That's what it comes down to for us anyway.

Based on the last two weeks and this one, there is a 20% chance of good weather in the RGV. High of 45 and low of 37 predicted for this Thursday. 80 degrees predicted for today, but it is 52 with light rain at 10:00 am.

Well it Sunday evening and they have changed to forecast for next week. Imagine that. We were suppose to have four days of eighty degree weather and now it might be two days, tues and wed. I know that there are some people that like cool weather but I am not one of them. But we cannot all like the same things.

Florida is a tall state. Sister says it is already eighty degrees in Fort Myers. She enjoys pointing out the forty degree difference between our choices. Those of us from Illinois are used to saying, "Wait until next year", whether it is weather or baseball teams.

A little less wind (with some big exceptions), a lot of cold. It is 42 drizzly degrees at 10:00 am today. It is almost March!

How's the wind been this year? We're thinking about returning to the RGV next winter. Cold I can deal with; wind I can deal with but cold and windy: I'll go somewhere else.

Got ice on the MH here in Austin this morning on the last day of February. This global warming just gotta stop.

I enjoy the weather here in the valley. The cool days are marginal and the good days more than make up for them. :B
