Southern Oregon rest areas
Has anyone stayed at Oregon Rest Areas overnight on Hwy. 97 south of Bend? Will be leaving Bend around 1:00 pm tomorrow. Need to be as close to CA border as possible. Thank you for all the help...

You can't get to the Klamath River rest stop from 97 without coming over to I 5. I would go to Collier rest area just north of Klamath Falls or go to Weed Ca. than back north on 5 to the Weed rest area (15 min)and then go to the next ext. and come back south. I have made at least 10 trips from So. Oregon to Redding in the last 6 months and see a lot of RV and truck in the rest areas.

Restrooms, Picnic Tables, Drinking Water, Accessible Facilities, Vending Machines, Historical Marker/Kiosk, Traveler Information
Don't know if you can stay overnight.
