Southern Oregon rest areas
Has anyone stayed at Oregon Rest Areas overnight on Hwy. 97 south of Bend? Will be leaving Bend around 1:00 pm tomorrow. Need to be as close to CA border as possible. Thank you for all the help...

As far as we know, you can "rest" at any rest area in Oregon....as long as you don't "live" there. By living, we mean, no slides out, etc. But we see people sleeping all the time at them....we've done it in other states, not Oregon. Just be VERY careful.....don't get out and go to the restroom at 2:00 AM......it could be your life in danger.
