We are going to stay a few days in southport and was wondering whats a good campground to stay at near the city?

I stopped by HB RV resort today. Their office was closed. Their sign out front says sites for rent monthly and annually. They apparently do have some nightly rentals because the bulletin board had a rate chart that said 40.00 for 50A and 35.00 for 30A. Did not ride all over but mostly what I saw were permanent MH or RVs.
Also rode by Ocean Breeze just out of curiosity. They don't have a lot of shade and are still working on some things I think but there were quite a few RVs there. This would be convenient for the OP to get to Southport. Lot closer than Wilmington or MB.
