St. Augustine is a giant tourist trap with some very nice, historical sites thrown in for good measure.
My favorites are the Castillo De San Marcos and Flager College (ex Hotel Ponce de Leon)
Consider going to Jacksonville and visiting Fort Caroline National Memorial and Kingsley Plantation.
