North Beach RV, pricey but nice and more like a state park than a KOA. A cheaper alternative but not as nice as North Beach would be Stagecoach RV.

We stay at Ocean Grove RV Resort. On the ICW. Nice sunsets.
They have some water front sites. In the thick of things to do and you can catch the trolley. Restaurants and bars with live music you can walk to.

If you don't mind being a little south of St. Augastine I have always enjoyed the Beverly Beach Camptown. They have Ocean front (right on the sea wall but well back from high tide, Ocean Access (other side of the street), or the other side of A1A. Ocean Front and Ocean Access sites area all 50A full hookup.

Not the cheapest in town, but I love hearing the ocean at night and I have never noticed A1A road noise.

I prefer North beach, but Ocean Grove is OK too. Ocean Grove has a lot of seasonal/permanent units, but that doesn't bother me.

We stayed at Bryn Mawr RV Resort last time. Right on the beach and a short hop to historic downtown area.

We like a Bryn Mawr if you can get a decent space down front. Very tight for a 40 DP.
Ocean Grove has bigger spaces. Plus I don't like the salt air on the chassis.

North Beach, is overpriced. "Resort" only means there is a swimming pool.

look at Anastasia State Park. just do your homework on site selection

The Flying J there looked like a dang campground when we traveled through in December.
