St. Augustine, FL

The only item that concerns me is several comments I saw on Trip Advisor regarding the sand. Wish the roads were paved.

A hand-vac near the entrance minimizes the sand problem considerably.

Most favoured North Beach RV,
while Ocean Grove RV Resort had larger sites,
we have stayed at Beverly Beach Camptown and loved the sunset plus watching a small pod of wales through our RV window but it has become very pricy.
Bryn Mawr RV Resort also got 2 votes... sites seem a little small.
Not much was said about Stagecoach RV Park???
Looks like North Beach RV is the favorite.

Like Anastasia State Park, tight but worth it if you can find right spot.

Yes, the interior roads and the campsites are sand, so it will get tracked in and around. It's not rundown, although there is an area down by the intercoastal that is pretty shabby, but other than that, they keep it in good shape.

We're staying at North Beach over spring break. I asked a similar question as the OP a couple of months ago and received an overwhelming vote for North Beach. I've researched the other places recommended but I really like the concept of the Atlantic and ICW at each end of the park. The place does look rundown but not sure if that is the look they are going for or if it really is rundown.

North Beach - Ocean across the street, trees and vegetation between sites, sites a decent size, not far from town, nice, quiet, clean park.

We don't stay at the campground all day/night so all we like is the convenience of full hookups and the nearness to the ocean. :R

I have a 38 DP. I looked at some of the 36' sites and knew I could fit. I asked the office (mistake) if it was ok to reserve a shorter spot and they said they would not let me check in if I tried.

There are a 4-5 for 38 but I think only 2-3 for 39-40'.
