Yes - do the trolley tour. You will get a good history lesson from the driver and see lots of buildings and architecture you otherwise will miss out on. You can get on and off at the various stops. Go to the jail and lighthouse. You can take the stairs up to the top for some spectacular views. Visit the alligator farm as well. The Columbia restaurant downtown has good Cuban style food. Walk down St. George st and visit the Casa Monica hotel - or eat in their restaurant.
